Pneumonia and diarrhea the #1 and 2 causes of death in children under the age of 5, worldwide. Orphans are especially vulnerable to contracting these diseases.  

Prevention is as simple as washing hands with soap and water. Wash Well's goal is to reduce the burden of these diseases by advancing hand washing in high-risk populations. First, in Malawi. Then, throughout Africa.
